NOTE that the Library ceased receiving new tangible government documents in Spring, 2016, and withdrew large numbers of tangible documents during the previous year.
The Library will not be receiving many printed reports from the 2010 Census, but the we may eventually receive some volumes, particularly for Texas.
The only series of reports currently in the Library in paper is the Population & Housing Unit Counts (C 3.223/5:2010 .) There is a volume for each state, and they contain very basic demographic information.
The most recent Census for which significant printed data is available is the 2000 Census. This box lists the Census 2000 tangible material in the Library. All of the materials may be checked out by St. Mary's students, faculty, and staff. CDs/DVDs must be requested at the Circulation Counter; print materials are in the open documents stacks on the Library's 2nd floor. If you are not a member of the St. Mary's community and need to use any of these items, you are welcome to do so in the Library.
The data from the 2000 Census is all available online as well as in the Library. Consult this Census 2000 Gateway at Census.gov. PDF exact copies of the printed reports listed below, as well as many more, and for many other years, are available here.
Major series are listed first, followed by other publications in alphabetical order.

Daniel Cornwall, at the Alaska State Library, developed this useful set of guides to using Census 2000 data. While some of the information is specific to this Census, much of his analysis and explanation is more generally useful. Note that the documents are PDFs without working links.
