Persistent Linking Instructions for The American West

Follow these steps to create persistent links to documents in The American West:

  1. Open The American West from the Library Databases page.
  2. Find a document.
  3. Click on the document image to pull up the original image.
  4. Copy the URL in the browser window.
  5. Open a text editor and paste the database URL. 
  6. Add the remote access prefix (http://blume.stmarytx.edu:2048/login?url=) before the database URL.
  7. Paste the complete URL in your Blackboard course, email message, online syllabus, etc.
