Persistent Linking Instructions for the Gale databases using Bookmarks

Follow these steps to create persistent links to articles in Gale databases.

  1. Open the Gale Virtual Reference Library from the Library Databases page.
  2. Search for the topic.
  3. Click on an article title to pull up the complete article record.
  4. Click on the Bookmark link.
  5. Copy the URL in the Bookmark pop-up box (the remote access prefix is included).
  6. Paste the full URL  (prefix plus database URL) in your Blackboard course, email message, online syllabus, etc.
