Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service, for current St. Mary's students, faculty, and staff, that allows you to borrow books, articles, and other materials from other libraries if not available at St. Mary's libraries.

The Interlibrary Loan page provides more information about this service including online forms to Request an Article or Request a Book.

TexShare

sample TexShare Card imageTexShare is a statewide program through which St. Mary's current students, faculty, and staff may check out materials, in person, from participating TexShare libraries.

You can get a free TexShare card at the Blume Library Circulation Counter.  TexShare cards are only valid for one semester. You will need to get a new card each semester. You must present a current TexShare card, your St. Mary's Rattler ID card, and a photo ID (if your St. Mary's ID does not include a photo) at the library from which you wish to borrow materials.

For borrowers from other institutions:
Borrowers from other institutions can pay Texshare fines, assessed by the Blume Library, with a credit card using the Texshare online payment form.
