eBooks at the Blume Library
The Blume Library owns thousands of eBooks that are available to you via Discover and directly from our eBook collection databases.
This guide provides help in finding, using, and viewing EBSCO eBooks online. Most, but not all, of the library's eBooks come from EBSCO.
You will also find instructions on downloading EBSCO eBooks to your computer and to your eReader, such as the iPad / iPhone, Android, Nook, and Kindle Fire.
You can also find links to sites providing access to free eBook collections.
eBooks are great resources but can be intimidating for first time users. I encourage you to get in touch if you have any questions about accessing or using our eBooks.

Here is a list of our primary eBook collections.
- Ebook Central This link opens in a new windowProQuest Ebook Central contains over 200,000 ebooks from various publishers across a wide range of academic disciplines. The collection includes books from major university presses and other scholarly publishers. Search for books by entering a keyword, ISBN, Author, or other terms into the basic search box.

Account holders can borrow eBooks from the site. St. Mary's University is a participant in the Open Library initiative. The Internet Archive and participating libraries have selected digitized books from their collections that are available to be borrowed by one patron at a time from anywhere in the world for free. These books are available in BookReader format and usually in PDF and ePub formats.
