Ask A Librarian for Help
Need help finding articles for a project? Can't find the statistics you need for your report? Do you need the latest books on your topic? Ask a Librarian. We can help.
Our Research Librarians, who staff the 1st Floor Learning Commons Research Station, will help you find the best research sources to meet your needs. You can reach us in person, by phone at 210-436-3508, or by email.
We also offer research assistance through our librarian-designed Research Guides. You can also request an individual research consultation with the librarian who works with your department or major (Liaison Librarians).
The print Reference Collection is on the 1st Floor near the Research Station. Reference sources include dictionaries, almanacs, atlases, encyclopedias, handbooks, statistical sets, and biographical information. All reference materials are listed in the Library Catalog.
Librarians offer research assistance on an on call basis for some hours. Librarians staff the 1st Floor Research Station (Learning Commons) at other times.
You can also ask for help from our Research Librarians through the Ask A Question email form.
