Model Organization of American States

AGORA partners with international agencies and universities in focusing on Parliamentary Strengthening and Development, Standards for Democratic Parliaments, Parliaments and Anti-corruption, Parliamentary Institution, Parliament and Development Policies, Transparency and Parliaments, and Parliaments and Elections.

The project investigates the sources and consequences of constitutional choices. Towards this end, the investigators are collecting data on the formal characteristics of written constitutions, both current and historical, for most independent states since 1789.

SWPSA is the largest affiliate of the Southwestern Social Science Association (SSSA). The membership journal is Social Science Quarterly.

The Association is international, politically independent, non-profit and student-run, and aims to have global impact in the political science sphere. Publications include Politikon and A Different View.
