research tools for use in Dr. Belinda Roman's classes

What's available in this class guide?

This International Economics guide describes and links sources for policy briefs. It is intended to serve as a long-term guide to these sources.

  1. Discover - Discussion and practice using the Discover portal to focus on international economics topics. We will discuss keyword development, limits, and disciplinary searching.
  2. Economic Data, Indicators, Statistics: World Bank DataBank - We will focus on discussing one data source in class.  You will practice extracting data from the World Bank's World Development Indicators.  We will also discuss, briefly, the other sources of data on this page since these sources may be a better fit for your topic.

There are additional sources that we will not be able to discuss in class.  I encourage you to bookmark this guide and come back to it later.
