Early Voting - Joint General, Special and Bond Election

  • Early voting in person for the Joint General, Special, and Bond Election is Monday, April 22, 2024 - Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Anyone who is registered for at least 30 days in Bexar County is eligible to vote at any early voting site in Bexar County.
  • Click on Voter Registration Check & Polling Location Search and enter your birth date and house number. You will see a link to the ballot for your precinct. Know what will be on your ballot BEFORE you go to the polling site. Note: No one will vote in every election on the generic ballot.
  • See a list of early voting times and sites.
  • View a map of Early Voting sites in Bexar County.
  • If you are not certain at which address in Texas you are currently registered, or if you are currently registered, check the Am I Registered? site.
  • Bring your valid Photo ID when voting in person.

Voting by Mail

You may vote by mail if you are:

  • Going to be away from your county on Election Day and during early voting
  • Sick or disabled
  • 65 years of age or older on Election Day
  • Confined in jail, but otherwise eligible to vote

Applications for a ballot by mail must be submitted to the Bexar County Elections Department no later than the 11th day before Election Day.

The early voting clerk must receive your marked ballot by 7pm on Election Day.
