K-12 / Juvenile Literature Collection

books in the K to 12 collection

The K-12 Collection is located on the Blume Library 2rd Floor (near the elevator).  It includes books for children and young adults.  Borrowing policies are the same as for all other books in our circulating collection.  Books in this collection are primarily award books, books from "the best of" lists and books written by local and regional authors. The K-12 Collection is listed in the Library Catalog under the location "Juv. Lit".

The K-12 Collection also includes some textbooks adopted for use by the State of Texas.  Older textbooks are identified by a label on their cover indicating the years of adoption.
