Persistent Linking Instructions for the ASME Digital Collection

Follow these steps to create persistent links to materials in the ASME Digital Collection:

  1. Open ASME Digital Collection from the Library Databases page.
  2. Search for a topic. 
  3. Click on an title to pull up the complete item.
  4. Copy the DOI URL listed under the article title.
  5. Paste the URL in a text editor.
  6. Add the remote access prefix (http://blume.stmarytx.edu:2048/login?url=) before the ASME Digital Collection URL.
  7. Paste the full URL (prefix plus database URL) in your Canvas course, email message, online syllabus, etc.
