Persistent Linking Instructions for Nexis Uni
Follow these steps to create persistent links to materials in the Nexis Uni (formerly Lexis/Nexis Academic) database:
- Open Nexis Uni from the Library Databases page.
- Search for an article or topic.
- Click on an item in the results list.
- On the far right, you will see Actions link. Click the link. Then click on the Link to this page.
- In the pop-up box, copy the page URL.
- Paste the Nexis Uni link into a text editor.
- Add the remote access prefix (https://blume.stmarytx.edu/login?url=) before the Nexis Uni URL.
- Paste the full URL (prefix plus database URL) in your Canvas course, email message, online syllabus, etc.
