This faculty-oriented guide provides directions on how to link to library online resources in your Canvas course. This guide includes detailed directions on how to create persistent links to content in the library's article databases.

Persistent Linking Instructions for 20th Century American Poetry and 20th Century English Poetry

Follow these steps to create persistent links to poems in 20th Century American Poetry and 20th Century English Poetry:

  1. Open one of the poetry databases from the Library Databases page.
  2. Search for a poem.
  3. Click on the title of the poem.
  4. Click on the link entitled Durable URL for this text. Copy the URL in the pop-up box.
  5. Paste into a text editor.
  6. Add the remote access prefix (https://blume.stmarytx.edu/login?url=) before the Durable URL.
  7. Paste the full URL (prefix plus database URL) in your Canvas course, email message, online syllabus, etc.
